Protec S.r.l. was founded in 1995 by Giuseppe Viola who, after twenty years of experience in the sector, understood the possibility of setting up the design, production, sale and assistance of conveyors and bellows with more modern and high-performance methods. Since then, the company has embarked on a virtuous path that has led to constant growth and innovation. In 1998, his sons Tommaso and Riccardo joined the business. The activity was born as an artisan and family business but, with the increase of experience and above all skills, it has been able to convert its objectives and foundations into what today can be defined as a structured and solid reality.
La Protec grows each year, structuring itself and creating employment for about 70 employees. After starting to operate throughout Northern Italy up to Emilia Romagna, the company has become a reliable partner of important foreign groups, in particular German, Spanish and Swiss, offering itself to a high-level clientele not only for the manufacture and production of components for machine tools but also to improve, where necessary, processes and mechanical components.
Knowing the technological needs of the market, La Protec aims to offer highly innovative solutions that increasingly attract the attention of various stakeholders, thus setting a new starting point. Our 8,000 square metre production area houses an enhanced Technical Office capable of designing customised solutions, making all our expertise available to the customer.
What makes our standard products even more interesting is the modular approach that takes advantage of cutting-edge production technologies, allowing a significant reduction in costs. Our internal Research and Development department together with the Innovation Cube, dedicated to the study of highly innovative products, has obtained numerous patents for Q-VERSUS, X-VELO, T-REX, ARMA-D, V-DESIGN, KLAK and others.
Today Giuseppe Viola holds the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors, while his two sons, Tommaso and Riccardo, hold the roles of Commercial Director and Technical Director, respectively, holding the position of CEO.
